First Flight

Locked up in paradise
Spoon fed on home lies
Knocked up on honey and cheese
Bitter sweet rhetoric
Piles of tea
Leaves that fly and fall
Eyes that wink and maul
Souls of spring-a-ding-ding
Mimetic merry-making

Lemon curd
Strawberry sunrise
And zephyr doubts
Marmalade mornings
Restive shadows
And happy bouts

Give me your hand,
My Gabriel
Let me show you white brick
Paper planes
And crimson clouds

Shedding Definitions

Ambrosian starlight
Violet trees
Scorched crimson sunsets
Light shivering dew drops
Drops of burning lava
Feed off the leaves
Immortalize not dreams
In fossils
In memories

Never blow
Fallen wishes
Let them fly with the breeze

Moons swirl
Flowers sashe
Little starlets tease

New born elements
What do they know
Of vales and springs and salty seas?

Mountains, pebbles
Crumble them all
Forts and hay stacks
Wash away all

What are suns and moons and pearls and teardrops
When you dazzle with a smile
Quench me with a sigh.

What Remains

Sunsets
Curtains
Lights
Shadows
Cricket

An unspoken thought
A dead scream
An aired smell
A numbed touch
An overlooked sight

Take one from one
Desecrate two
Breed air
Quench thirst and fire
Mingle goldflakes and stardust

Close your eyes
You see it now.
